Thanks to Ingrid from the Langley Camera Club meeting tonight, I'm going to start Project 365 for myself. That means I have to take at least one photo a day for the next year! It just happens that today is Tyson's birthday (cousin) so I'll be able to remember the day! Of course I had to get my little dude for the first shot, so here it is!

I've been thinking about posting a whole bunch of old tracks for free usage. I have tons of different stuff sitting on hard drives, not doing me any good! All different styles, a lot of soundtrack stuff that never went anywhere. I'd want to make it available for independent film makers and such, all I would need is a bit of credit. Let me know if that kind of thing sounds good to you.

Canada Day at Canada Place

My most recent video production, shot/ edited/ and scored by myself with additional camera work from Tyson Gibbons and Jon Kaiser on the day of the shoot. It all came together nicely, and was my first real production done in Final Cut Pro X. It all went extremely smoothly, but I'm still getting used to the FCPX paradigm shift!

Baby Micah is born!

Finally getting to blog about my new dude, born Sept 3 at 2:31 PM. He came over 2 weeks early, but still managed to weigh in at a whopping 8lbs 13 ounces! (which is actually the lightest we seem to make em). He's number four of our brood, and seems to fit right in. He's sleeping well, eating well, and changing every day.

This whole childbirth thing never gets old, even by the fourth one I'm still blown away by the experience. Becca was amazing again, and maintained such composure throughout the birth it was incredible. It was by far the most literal Labour Day weekend she's ever had!

The other kids are rising to the occasion, and there's usually a battle over who gets to hold him. He's never going to be short a baby sitter! Here are some pics of the latest addition to the loves of my life!

This is a 3 minute compilation of some of our favorite tracks written/ recorded/ produced in the last 4 years by myself and Josh Friesen for the Grapeseed ESL curriculum in Japan. It features loads of local artists, and is a slice of the several hundred pieces we have done in 4 years!!

I've put my soundtrack to Aaron Caleb's "The Bacchae" up on Soundcloud for free download. Some of the songs might not make sense out of context, but the play was brilliant, and the cast was amazing. Mackenzie West sang vocals on the songs.
