I am a composer/ engineer based in Greater Vancouver BC. I own and operate Blueshift Productions and offer many services including Soundtrack Composition, Song Arrangement, Production, Recording, Voice-over recording, Sound Design, and Composition for Film or Commercials. I am also set up for portrait photography and interview videography in my studio.

I am currently the other half of a creative audio team for Wine Studios in Japan with Josh Friesen.  Together we create music and sound design for the entire Grapeseed ESL curriculum.  We have composed and produced well over 300 songs, stories, poems and videos/ animations over the past 3 years.  We are always using local talent for everything we do, including some of the best voice/ musical talent in the area.

I am also a part-time instructor at Trinity Western University where I teach the Digital Recording and Digital Music Composition courses.

I have been the personal composer/ sound designer for acclaimed director Robin Webb for the past 7 years. Robin’s movies have recently won awards such as Best Picture and Best Actress at the NY Independent International Film Festival. Robin also recently won a humanitarian award for his work with child safety programs.

I was formerly contracted by Apple and Steinberg/Music Marketing to go to music stores to give demonstrations on how to use software from Steinberg (Nuendo, Cubase, etc.) IK Multimedia (Sampletank, Amplitube etc.) Native Instruments (Absynth, Kontakt, Battery, Reaktor etc.) Propellerheads (Reason), Apple (Logic/ Garageband), EWQL (Symphonic Orchestra) and many others.

I have recently gotten in to the world of photography and video, and my latest studio is set up to capture video and photos for portraits, interviews, or web presentations.  I have an assortment of lighting and video supplies as well as a white wall and black curtains for simple backgrounds.
